Do I have to RSVP on the website if you already know I’m coming?
Yes! We need you to RSVP through the website mostly so that we can keep track of dietary and accessibility requirements. If you don’t RSVP using the form by the 16.05.25, we’ll assume you’re not coming, even if you’re a good friend or family member.
Can I bring a plus one?
We’re really sorry, but due to very limited venue capacity, we are unable to accommodate plus ones. All invitees will be explicitly named on the wedding invitation envelope. Thank you for understanding, reach out to us if you have any questions or concerns around this!
Can I bring a gift?
We’re really grateful to have you celebrate with us - that’s all we really want! But if you’d like to give a gift, a contribution to our honeymoon fund would mean the world to us. There’ll be a card box at the venue. Please don’t bring any physical gifts or anything that won’t fit in a card - we don’t have any space for physical gifts at our venue!
Can I bring a child?
We love your children, but this is an adult-only affair, so book the babysitter! If you have a new born or you’re breastfeeding, let us know - we’ll do our best to accommodate family members who are too young to be left without a parent.
Is there a cash bar?
No - all drinks will be supplied.
Can I bring my own drinks?
Even though our venue isn’t licensed, you still can’t bring your own alcohol or drinks - the caterer will not serve these to you! So, no, you cannot BYO.
What are the drink options?
We are serving:
1x prosecco
2x orange wines
1x chilled red wine
1x IPA
1x XPA
Tea, coffee, soda, and, of course, water.
Will there be food?
Yes! After the ceremony there will be a small number of roaming canapes, followed by a shared-style sit down dinner.
I’m from out of town, where should I stay?
We’ll be staying at Ovolo South Yarra, which comes highly recommended by Alex (she stayed there for a week after Beau caught Covid at a Dua Lipa concert).
I’m running late, can I just pop in once I arrive?
No. Doors will open at 4:30 pm and the ceremony will start after everyone has safely made their way up the stairs and located their seats. The door will then be locked and you will not be able to exit or enter again until cocktail hour starts at 6:00 pm.
Can I smoke or vape?
No - there is no outdoor space at our venue unfortunately!
Can I exit and re-enter the venue after the ceremony?
We kindly ask that you remain inside the venue once you’ve entered. However, if you need to step out — for example, to move your car or retrieve something for your baby — please do so as quickly and quietly as possible.
